Snow Plowing Responsibilities
in Little Rocky Run
The responsibility for snow plowing and sanding in Little Rocky Run is shared by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Homeowners Association contractor, Multiflora Professional Horticultural Services. In addition, there are areas that are the responsibility of homeowners.

Homeowners Association Responsibility (703-830-0411)
Townhome Courts and parking lots (drive lane only, not private parking spaces), and recreation center parking lots. The Homeowners Association does not remove snow or ice from asphalt paths or neighborhood sidewalks.
Homeowner/Resident Responsibility

- Private Driveways
- Sidewalks: Residents are asked to clear snow and ice from sidewalks adjacent to their private property as soon as possible to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
- Mailboxes: Residents are responsible for clearing the area around private mailboxes. (see message from the USPS).
- Townhome Parking Spaces: Homeowners are responsible for clearing individual parking spaces. The HOA will provide service to clear the drive area through the parking lot only. We cannot clear parking spaces in front of your house or guest spaces.
Snow Removal at Mailboxes (a message from the U.S. Postal Service)
Single family homeowners and residents are reminded to clear the full approach and exit to private mailboxes. Due to the safety factor, mail carriers ARE NOT PERMITTED to back up or exit their vehicles at the mailbox. If the mailbox area is not properly cleared, mail cannot be delivered safely.
